Every four years the biggest and most traditional culinary exhibition taked place in Erfurt. This professional competition was entrer by 28 nations from all over the world, which competed for the olympic victory. Czech National team AKC ČR what includes our Executive Chef Ladislav Douša came back with two silver and two bronze medals!
General Manager of the Holiday Inn Prague Congress Centre, JUDr. Jan Filip, was given the Green Manager of the year 2007 award by AHR on 29th of November 2007. By implementing an environment system according to ISO 1400:2005 and following its guidelines, JUDr. Filip is increasing the profile of the Czech tourism services.
International Mediterranean Culinary Challenge Cup Gastronomia was held in the Nicosia on 7. – 12.2.2008. Among the other members of Czech Cookery Team, our Executive Chef Ladislav Douša and Lenka Sapíková, his souschef could not miss this important event. There were also teams from UK, Cyprus, Portugal, Romania and Germany also participating. Czech team came back as an absolute winner!
On May 22nd, 2008 Holiday Inn Prague Congress Centre will hold the 5th annual Holiday Inn EDIE CUP golf tournament and the 3rd annual of the lady Abrahams Memorial golf tournament.
